Musicvideo
We are shooting music video for our song Meantime at Galleri 1857 (yes the same place as the Okiishi performance) the 9th of august, and need people to dance, aggitate and have fun. The first shoot is between 17.00 and 19.00 and the second between 2200 and 01.00. Feel free to stop by whenever WITHIN these hours. The adress is is Toyenbekken 12 at Gronland just beside the subway. Nausea
We wish we could sleep and wake up to as friday 22.07.2011 never happened. Instead the brutal truth brings us back to these horrifying inferno that happened in Oslo and at Utoya yesterday. Our thouhts goes out to the murdered ones, their family and friends, and the norwegian society who is shattered. Take care of your friends and family, they may need it now.

Mixing and Mastering
We have just finsished mixing our debut EP with George Tandero, and Mastering with Espen Berg. And we must say, It sounds faboulous! Date for release is not set yet, but november is a fair guess.
OYA Festival
Here is a review from our concert at the OYA Festival, and some pictures from OYA festivals home page. For those of you not so flutently norwegian speaking people, here is at quick and rough translation from the Furore i Harare review.
"Hard to say, nice to hear. Camp Sounds (former Campfire Kansas) is soon ready with their EP and celebrated this with showing the whole package and an extremely good show for those not attending Karpe Diem. The new single "Meantime" and the classic "Resurrection" worked really good insdide the tent while the sun was shining outside. Pity for those who didnt see singer Bjorn Inge joyfullness and madly good scene/floor show".

New Webpage
The Camp Sounds web page in finally up and running. Look forward to lots of updates here the couple of days and weeks. Bjorn got so excited about this he dressed up in his casualwear and went out for a beer. He did though end up in a big fight with David Bowie, about which one of them who was the real Thin White Duke.

Bio
Camp Sounds was formed in 2007 by singer Bjorn Inge Engebretsen, then under the name Campfire Kansas. They soon got much good press and response, but singer Bjorn Inge took some time off and travelled as a keyboardplayer and guitarplayer for bands as Hiawata, Sigh and Explode and Accidents Never Happen. They started again in 2010 under the name Camp Sounds, and played at the Oya Festival in Oslo the same year, despite not having released any material.
In february 2012, they released their debut music video Meantime directed by the norwegian/danish duo Howlid and Rosenbak to great critical response. They are working on new singeles, an EP and are planning to release their debut album in the end of 2012.
